Subsystem IP Overview
According to Gartner, Inc., "In the emerging system-on-a-chip (SOC) model, it is necessary to create subsystem functional blocks". We believe that there are two key factors to the creation of subsystem IPs:
One of the most critical choices for subsystem creation is designing the optimal Architecture. The choices made at the architectural level affect the competitiveness of the product, development time, maintenance and support efficacies and, of course, time-to-market.
One of the most time-consuming tasks in Silicon IP development is design verification. Even with prefect IPs, the task of integrating several IPs with software remains a bottleneck that slows the time-to-market of the product.
We are developing two platforms:
1. USB-HDMI-Video Platform: This platform can be used as a subsystem IP for applications that require a USB-HDMI adapter such as home theatre, DTV and mobile video appliances.
2. DVB-HDMI-DTV platform: This platform can be used in Set-Top-Box, DTV and mobile applications.
